Antique 1900s Sterling Belt Art Nouveau Poppy Flowers by William B. Kerr Co. Rare Edwardian
A truly amazing and rare piece!
The William B. Kerr Co. were known for making high quality sterling items from the 1850s to 1920s.
This is a sterling belt made up of groups of poppy flowers on chain links.
The total length is about 29-1/2 inches and that is the size waist that it would fit. It is not adjustable.
The flowers are on bars in groups of 2 and they are 1-1/2 to 2-3/4 inches (each set) in size. The single end flowers that hook in the back are about 1 inch each.
One of the end flowers is marked - 'Sterling' with the Kerr hallmark (an ax and XXX) 1973 plus EE on the hook.
