This week I made a small stock purchase. Included were a few 1940s gowns and 1940s plus size rayon dresses, shown below in these quick shots. I also got some lingerie, blouses and a box of purses. You'll see the blouses and purses in next week's update, and maaaaaaaaybe the plus size dresses if they are clean in time. With the 1940s gowns, 2 are cotton, so I have to soak them and the other 2 have to go out for cleaning, so they probably won't be added to the site until the following update.

FIRST!!! a message to people on my mailing list. I was having trouble last month using my carol@dandelionvintage.com address for sending out the weekly email updates. So I switched to my regular email address dvintage@comcast.net for the weekly updates. But several people have told me that they haven't been receiving the email since I switched.

I looked into using Bravenet for the mailing list and tried importing my address book. But it automatically sent out a sign-up notice to everyone on my mailing list without telling me first. I would never have done that if I knew it would send out a message in which I had no idea what it was saying to everyone. So I apologize for that email from Bravenet. Some people were concerned that my email had been hacked, but, no, it is fine. Please just delete the Bravenet sign-up, because I won't be using that program after all. Hopefully I will have it straightened out next week.

Last week I make a vintage stock purchase of amazing lingerie. 230 pieces, including 50 girdles, 54 panties, 40 slips and other pieces.
This lady loved the pretty lingerie, and it's all mint, unworn. The colors and pretty laces and trims are amazing.
